galleries 4 serious
The galleries are coming back for real this weekend...Saturday most likely. It's been a busy two weeks.
Galleries coming back
I have gotten a few requests recently for copies of the galleries. I will be posting up a link to them before the weekend.
On the same note, I have decided to bring the galleries back. The major change is they will be in a section of the site that requires a login. Sucks to have another site to login too, but you will be able to browse again. I got some folks that want to add to it too, so there will be more content as well.
Lastly, I got a few more hiphop tracks coming and I will be bringing the games section back. Fun times at work for sure.
AVGN - Game Glitches
If any of you were gaming in the late 80's/90's, then you will appreciate Angry Video Game Nerd. He makes a video every month about old shitty games, many of which you probably played or heard about. This month's episode is "Game Glitches" which is a good one. Check it out and his more of his older videos at http://www.cinemassacre.com
Jedi Mind Tricks - Sacrifice
Jedi Mind Tricks is an amazing Hip Hop group, known primarily in the underground scene for their gritty production style. "Sacrifice" is a great example of that grit. Vinnie Paz and company lay down tracks with a war-based theme. I find it hilarious that the intro is from the Disney Movie "Antz".
If you are looking for some bite with your Hip Hop, this is it.

Mystik Journeymen - Right Now
"Right Now" is a super chill track by the Journeymen. The beats are exquisite and pleasing to the ear. I am always amazed on how well the Journeymen weave their lyrics in with the music, making the words themselves part of the beat. This is a long track at 5 minutes and 17 seconds which is a good thing; You are going to want to listen to it for as long as possible.
If you have not heard of Mystik Journeymen before, perhaps you have heard of Living Legends. Below is an excerpt from wikipedia:
The Living Legends Crew originally grew out of, Mystik Journeymen, composed of BFAP (now known as Sunspot Jonz) and PSC. Beginning in 1994, the Mystik Journeymen began cultivating a fan base by selling their own tapes on the streets and hosting "Underground Survivors" shows in East Oakland. In 1995 the duo met The Grouch, and soon embarked on the first of several of self-funded tours throughout Europe. In 1996 Mystik Journeymen and The Grouch joined with the trio, Three Melancholy Gypsys of Los Angeles to form the Living Legends. The crew has since grown to include Bicasso and Aesop. The group and its members have founded and operated several imprints, including Outhouse Records, Revenge Entertainment and their current label, Legendary Music. In 1999, Living Legends moved their base of operations to Los Angeles.

Coming along nicely
Mystik Journeymen - Mercury Rising
I figured my first track I should post should be one of my favorites. The beat in Mercury Rising is one of the main reasons I like this song. The lyrics are spot on and flow well throughout the track.
